Meet the sublime & talented Maria Fernanda Helo aka azraviolet9. I came across Maria’s work on flickr about a year ago and was instantly drawn to her spirit, originality & graceful sensibility. Who would have thought that a year later, Maria would make her way to the Pacific Northwest from her hometown Bogota, Colombia? Our time together was magical, enriching and surreal to say the least. I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to meet her and to capture these images [shot with 100% natural light].

I can’t wait to see Maria’s upcoming work & what the future holds for her.
Footnote: I secretly thought she’s Audrey Tatou‘s twin :)
